FreeBSD AhsayOBM Download
- In a web browser, access the site provided by your backup service provider to download the application. - Examples: - https://hostname.example.com - http://192.168.1.100:8080 
- Click the download icon on the top right corner to open the download page for the AhsayOBM installation package.  
- In the Linux/FreeBSD/Solaris section under the AhsayOBM tab of the download page, you can choose between two installation methods: - Online installation using SH online installer
- Offline installation using TAR GZ offline installer
 - Right click on the installer you want to use to copy the link address.  - Here are some things to consider to help you decide which installation method to choose: - Online Installation - Pros - Online installer size is small which is 6KB to 3.5MB depending on operating system as it contains only the initial installation package files. 
- Ensures the latest version of AhsayOBM is installed. 
- Suitable for client sites with fast and stable internet connection as internet connection is needed each time an installation is run. 
 - Cons - Installation takes more time as it needs to download the binary and component files (80 to 132MB depending on operating system) each time the installation is run. 
- Slow internet connection will result in longer installation time. Interrupted or unstable internet connection may cause installation to fail. 
 
- Offline Installation - Pros - Installation takes less time as all the necessary binary and component files are already available in the offline installer. 
- Installer can be downloaded once and reused many times. 
- Can be used for multiple or mass device installations. 
- Suitable for client sites with metered internet connection as once the offline installer is downloaded, internet connection is not needed to run an installation. 
 - Cons - Offline installer size is 80MB to 132MB depending on operating system as it contains all the necessary binary and component files. 
- Installer might contain outdated binaries. May need to update the product version after installation if an older offline installer was used.
