How to restore your files backups on a QNAP NAS (AMBaaS version)?

Please use the following steps to restore files on a QNAP NAS device using AhsayOBM.

  1. From the AhsayOBM home screen, click Restore.
  2. Select the backup set containing files/folders you want to restore.
  3. Check the Temporary Directory.
  4. Select where to restore your data from.
    • It is recommended to select a network drive, if applicable.
  5. Select what to restore: Choose from files as of job or Choose from ALL files.
    • Default selection is Choose from files as of job with the latest version. You may select a specific version by clicking the menus next to it.
  6. Select the files/folders you aim to recover.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select where to restore files to: Original Location or Alternate Location
    • If selecting alternate:
      • Click Browse.
      • Select another directory.
      • Click OK.
  9. Click Restore.
  10. After restore, open the original/alternate location and check if the selected files and/or folders have been successfully restored.
